David wants to show the world that this boat really works so he and his crew will sail across the Pacific Ocean. Starting from San Francisco, California to Sydney, Australia. He made Plastiki to show other people about plastic waste. David doesn't really care if they make it to Sydney or not because he has already shown awareness about plastic waste. There are 6 crew members including David. They will cross the Pacific Ocean hoping that Plastiki will keep them afloat.

Nice work here, Maria. You've got a lot of great info about the boat and voyage, then in the end you mention the really important point of the whole project. They are trying to raise awareness of all the plastic that's been dumped in the oceans, a really bad deal. :-(

Great job Maria! I really like how you explained about the Plastiki and whats its made of. I also liked how you gave the reason why they built plastiki. :)
nice work Maria. you put really good information in the plastiki blog post. keep up the great work.
I agree with Mr. Hughes! Really good info in there!

I totally agree with Ivan but not the primitive part.. GOOD JOB!!! :)
Awesome job, Maria. It's a really good post and I agree with Mr. Hughes-you really understood the main reason of Plastiki. And Ha! You used the word primitive :D
WOW Maria!!! This is a really good post. The pictures are beautiful, the info is accurate and above all, it is short and to the point, not long and boring.
